True Blood

     Hello, this is the first post of 2013, but the last post of this semester. Before I start to introduce this series, I have to say Happy New Year to all of you. In the begin of this year, I would like to introduce a series which is totally different from Disneys. The series I would like to introduce is True Blood.
     The story is about vampires. The story describes that a Japanese scientist created the human-made blood called Trublood, which can substitute the real human blood. In the world, vampires, warewolfs, fairies and many other supernatural creatures live with humans. Due to Trublood, vampires come out of the coffin one by one.( It means to make their identities public.) This world start to go into a new situation that humans have to get along with what may be dangerous to them. I think this is an interesting topic, everyone loves the story of mythology, or supernatural. These kind of stories are full of imagination. However, we seldom think if humans become the prey of other creatures. Would the romance of twilight still be so romantic? Most of time, humans love the fictions which is far from real world. On the other hand, we should think if we want the fiction become our true life?
     This series is for adults, so the scenes of violence, sex, and blood could be seen often. Although there are some frightening scenes, it's still a good series. Hope you would like it.

Good Luck Charlie

     Hello everyone, time flies very soon. This is the last post in 2012. Today is Christmas. Do you go out with friends? Christmas is a warm holiday. In Christmas, family should get together an enjoy this wonderful night. However, most of us live in the school dorm but not our home. Due to this reason, I would like to introduce another Disney Original Sitcom, Good Luck Charlie, which is about family.
     The storyline goes around the Duncans family. Charlie is a baby girl whose full name is Charlotte. She is the forth kid in Duncans. The Duncans is a big family in today's society. The other kids in Duncans are PJ, Teddy, Gabe, and Toby. This story is about their daily lives. And the sitcom's name comes from Charlie's sister, Teddy. In every episode, Teddy creates a video diary as suggestions for Charlie about family and teenager life.  In the end of each video dairy, Teddy would say an eponymous phrase "Good Luck Charlie." This sitcom is a special one. It's not so commercial like others we introduced before. This sitcom is more close to our daily lives. When you are watching it, you may feel the same way, too.

     Good Luck Charlie is a simple and very real sitcom. Every time I watch it, I would think of my family. Sometimes, we have argument, but all of us know that we love one another very much. Hope you would like it and feel warm in this chilly Christmas night. Merry Christmas.

     Hello, it's a new week. It became colder and colder this week, I hope no one is weak enough to catch a cold. (XDDDDDD) This week I would continue introducing the Disney Original Sitcoms. I introduced the sitcom which lasts longest a few weeks ago. This week, I would like to introduce the most successful or even the most famous one, Hannah Montana. Maybe many classmates have ever heard of it. The actress's name is Miley Cyrus.
     This story is about an 11-year-old girl, Miley Stewart, having a dream to become a super star. However, she is a little bit greedy. She wants a normal life and a super-stared one at the same time. So she puts on a blonde wig and uses another name, Hannah Montana, in front of the public.The theme song, The Best of Both World, is the best representation of it. In the whole sictom, Miely has to deal with many problems between friends, family, and boyfriend. Most of the problems are caused by her double identities. She has to keep the secret so that she can carry the normal life,too. She is not only a teenage girl, but also a super star. Hannah and Miley are the same person, but have totally different lives. All of us have to face numerous problems in our daily lives. Can you image if the problems doubled? I think everyone would agree it must be terrible.
     This sitcom has four seasons and two movies. Each season and movie has an original soundtrack. I'm familiar with every song in the OSTs. The topics of the songs could be related to family like Butterfly Fly Away, friendship like True Friend, and love like If We Were A Movie. All of them are awesome. Not only  is the sitcom successful, but the actress is. Miley Cyrus or I should call her Hannah Montana is the most popular star in Disney so far.
     I grew up with this sitcom, and also the actress. The passage to adulthood makes me impressive because I had the same problem just like Miley. Every teenager has to looking for the answer to the question "who am I?" This whole sitcom is the process of a teenage girl striking the balance between chasing her own dream and not losing her direction. Hope you would like it.

The suite life of Zack & Cody

     Hi everyone, the time flies very soon, this week is for our midterm. Are you already well-prepared? Let's leave the exam behind and see an interesting TV series. From this week, our introduction will cross a new dividsion. A week ago, we paid our attention on the series for average adults. All of them are full of violence, blood, and pity like plot. From, this week I'm going to introduce something that will make you happy, and they are for teenagers. I would like to introduce Disney Original Sitcoms to you all. For the first week of this topic, what I choose is my favorite one, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. I  believe that it also must be in many people's memory for childhood.
     Zack and Cody are twins, living in an exclusive hotel, Tiptop Hotel, with only their mom. As you think, it's a single-parent family. You may ask" why do they live in an awesome hotel." The answer is their mom is a famous singer giving performance for the hotel restaurant. These naughty twins always bring troubles to others in the hotel. They are not only trouble makers but also happy makers. Although they are mischievous, the manager, the clerk, and even the heir of the hotel are all their friends. In this series, you can see the family relationship, and the growth of teenagers.
     This series is over now. It has four seasons in hotel, having a four-seasoned spin-off, The Suite Life on The Deck, and a movie version. It broke the tradition and record of Disney Original Sitcoms. (Most of Disney Original Sitcoms have only four seasons, or even less.) I dare say it's the most successful TV series of Disney. If you are tired of the preparation of the mid-term, I suggest you to take a rest and watch an episode. I think you may have fun and feel energetic again. Hope you will like it.

Teen Wolf

     Hello everyone, the weather is getting colder and colder. Everyone should take good care of ourselves. Hope no one would catch cold. This week, I would like to introduce a new TV series, which is adapted from a movie in 1985. The story is about a high school student, Scott McCall, who has an unusual identity, a werewolf. (It's a creature in mythology, which is between human and wolf.) Scott and his best friend, Stiles went to a forest for an adventure to look for a dead body. At that night, Scott was bitten by a werewolf. And his life changed. He runs faster, becomes stronger, and changes into a werewolf at every full moon.
     This series is very special because it combined the supernatural  material and school scenes. The story puts a lot of emphasis on Scott's normal school life and his secret identity. He has to choose and strike balance between them. And the dilemma between Scott and her girlfriend, Allison, who is a hunter( It means they hunt  monsters but not animals. Just like Sam and Dean in last article.) is also an important part of the story. In this story you can see that a high school teenager tries his best to do everything inevitably, sometimes he fails, but he always has friendship, family, and his girlfriend behind him. Hope you would like it.

     Hello, everyone. This is my second post on this blog. In this week, what I would like to introduce to you is my favorite series, Supernatural. The topic of this series is just like its name. It's about every supernatural stuff. Dean and Sam Winchester are brothers who are cursed. Their job is "HUNTER". It doesn't mean they hunt animals but monsters, ghosts, and devils. Their parents were killed by a yellow-eyed devil. And Sam is the chosen one who has special power to kill demon. Their lives are full of frustrations. They transit between life and death repeatedly. These two little humans try their best to fight against not only evil stuff but also something good. They neither work for heaven nor hell. They stand by humans only.
     This series is on season 8 now. These poor brothers are still suffering from their unfortunate lives. However, they never shrink back. They just fight back although they are very insignificant in front of the so-called gods and demons. If you are interested in mythology, I  think you would like this series. The storyline of this series goes around Christian mythology. In this story, you can get many new perspectives on family, religion, and life. The most impressive aphorism to me is "We can't just get what we want because it's life."from Sam Winchester. This saying is really true. We have no alternative but to accept our life and embrace it. Hope you would like it.

CSI:NY

Hi everyone, I'm Canneth. This is my first post of this blog. I would like to introduce the first TV series I watched. I think everyone must have ever heard of CSI, Crime Scene Investigation, before. And the series I would introduce today is a spin-off of it. It's more violent, and bloody than the CSI Las Vegas (the oldest one.)
The leading character named Mac Taylor is a men having strong sense of justice, and courage. He is in charge of the lab. Their jobs are investigating the crime scene, analyzing the evidence, and looking for the criminals. In this series, everyone of the lab has good command of chemistry, physics, and psychology. Every time when I watch this series I would think, "How come they can know that? They are too smart." Although the storyline is very dramatic and far from the reality, there is a lot of knowledge you can absorb.
If you want to know more in chemistry, physics, and psychology, you can watch this series. It's not only a series of knowledge, but also about love, bravery, and justice. Hope you would enjoy it. It has 8 seasons now, if you don't know where you can watch it. Ask me in private, and I will tell you how to get it.
